Kids in the Kitchen
The Junior League of Owensboro is proud to be collaborating with the Owensboro Area Museum of Science and History for three years providing an award winning program: KIDS IN THE KITCHEN. Thanks to great community sponsors and volunteers, children and parents have participated in regular educational programming that is lots of fun!
What is Kids in the Kitchen? Children of all ages can learn fun healthy tips about nutrition, exercise and what it means to stay healthy! Delicious free foods, learn fun & easy food recipes, hands-on food preparation, games and many special guests - ALL FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
The biggest Kids in the Kitchen event of this year will take place December 21st from 11:30-1 pm. For event times and details, call the museum (270) 687-2732.

Our Mission
The Junior League of Owensboro is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in a commitment to voluntarism.
