The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) has set Thursday, September 14, as the inaugural “Find the Good Day.” This special day of unity and compassion aims to spread kindness, uplift others, and inspire positive change across Daviess County. “Find the Good Day” is an opportunity for individuals, families, and organizations to come together as change makers and create a ripple effect of positivity throughout our community. It is a day to reflect on the goodness within ourselves and find inspiration in the acts of kindness we’ve witnessed and participated in throughout the year.

In celebration of Find the Good Day, the Junior League of Owensboro will continue to build on its focus of hygiene poverty in our community by holding its signature Free Laundry Day at Jo’s In & Out Coin Laundry (1361 E 4th St.) from 10:00am to 2:00pm on September 14. Through Free Laundry Day, we support those in our community who struggle with the resources needed to maintain clean clothing and linens.

The League invites everyone to join in the festivities and make a difference on this significant day. Whether it’s through acts of service, volunteer initiatives, or simply spreading positivity through kind gestures, every contribution has the power to create lasting change.
