Vision

The Junior League of Owensboro challenges women to greatness through volunteering, friendship, and commitment to improving our Owensboro-Daviess County community.

Our Mission

The Junior League of Owensboro is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in a commitment to voluntarism.

Community Impact

Healthy Owensboro Initiative
League members are promoting an exciting initiative! Healthy Owensboro is a project that includes feeding elementary-aged children through a "back-pack on the weekends" program, hosting Kids in the Kitchen events at the Museum of Science and History throughout the summer, hosting Kids in the Kitchen activities at community centers and events, and more!  You can help support this community initiative to build a healthier community by participating in the 5K held in September, annually.
